Disney Springs® at Walt Disney World® Resort | Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Located in Disney Springs® at Walt Disney World Resort®, The BOATHOUSE® is a one-of-a-kind dining and entertainment experience that takes the shape of an upscale waterfront restaurant.

Based on a fictitious historical progression of a family with a passion for lake living, The BOATHOUSE®’s multiple buildings are situated along the lakeshore and represent a thriving family business. With more than 70 percent of the restaurant perched over water, Cuningham Group’s team was challenged to design not only one building, but seemingly seven buildings organically fused together.

This “fusion” of different building types provides guests with varied dining environments, daily live music and opportunities for guided tours in unique amphicars or wooden water taxis. The expansive restaurant features three distinctive bars, nautical-themed rooms and two private dining rooms for special events, conventions and presentations.

The BOATHOUSE®’s interior spaces are dynamic, time period sensitive, and highly focused. The individual dining rooms each evoke a unique fictional former use — from a factory and warehouse, to a private dining room that calls to mind an early 20th Century residence. These environments reflect pieces of American history, celebrating architectural references from the 1900s on, with modern amenities to support current operations.

In addition, the water courtyard is full of rare dream boats from the 1930s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Guests can also visit “The Boatique” for a selection of authentic nautical items, custom engraved paddles, distinctive lake-themed merchandise and other unique souvenirs.
