Laura Fernandez, AIA
AIA Leadership Forum
The AIA Leadership Forum is a program designed to develop and foster leadership skills for mid-career members of AIA Minnesota and MSP NOMA. Through a curriculum centered on leadership styles, values, self-awareness, intercultural leadership, communication, motivation, and engagement, Laura will participate in a series of learning experiences led by a diverse group of AEC professionals, academic instructors, and consultants. With a focus on applying these concepts to real-world roles within firms, project teams, and communities, the Leadership Forum builds a strong network of professionals committed to meaningful leadership development.
Kelly Ryan, AIA
Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program
The Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP) is a leadership initiative hosted by AIA Colorado that trains emerging professionals for leadership roles in architecture by focusing on key skills such as entrepreneurship, firm management, negotiation, teamwork and collaboration, client development, and community leadership. Through this experience, Kelly will have the opportunity to sharpen leadership tools while gaining deeper insight into industry trends and the evolving role of architects as business and community leaders.
Rebecca Greek, RA
Downtown Denver Leadership Program
The Downtown Denver Leadership Program (DDLP) has spent more than 20 years developing emerging leaders who are passionate about shaping Denver’s future. DDLP brings together participants from across sectors to tackle real challenges facing urban environments. As part of the 2026 cohort, Rebecca will contribute to a project focused on creating a Downtown Denver where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Working alongside peers and community leaders, participants develop initiatives aligned with the Downtown Area Plan that aim to create meaningful, lasting impact and strengthen civic leadership.
