Robert Street Corridor Plan
This once strong retail corridor connects West Saint Paul to Downtown Saint Paul. Regional growth and changing consumer patterns have sent this 2.5-mile corridor into a gradual decline over the last two decades. Integrating primary retail into concentrated mixed-use spaces in defined locations reverses this regression by diversifying land uses. The Robert Street Plan also provides design concepts at key locations along the corridor where major infrastructure and public amenities will further facilitate redevelopment.
