Radius @ 15th
The “cabin living” themed approach at Radius @ 15th injects a youthful feeling into the traditional student living mode and has proven very popular among students. The space’s contemporary translation of a northern Minnesota cabin has boosted leasing, achieving nearly 100 percent occupancy upon opening.
Serving 630 students within 201 units, Radius @ 15th offers residents a relaxed environment within a well-established neighborhood. Its carefully crafted interpretation of lake living adds a twist to appeal to university students. The approach especially speaks to local students, many of whom come from a lake cabin culture.
The outdoor center of the building features a hot tub and an active “beach” area with deck chairs. Facing this area are fire pits, grills, an outdoor kitchen and dining space. Inside are large gathering areas and a sophisticated take on wood paneling to further support the cabin culture feel.

“The design took into account the city's master plan for 15th Avenue, a 3½-block stretch that experiences busy car and bike travel. The plan calls for the street to have more of a boulevard feel, said Cordelia Pierson, president of the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood Association.”
