Mental Health and Architecture

As Mental Health Awareness Month begins, it is a good time to consider the important relationship between mental health and the built environment.

In March, Cuningham team members Scott Bales and Samia Mansour gave a webinar titled "Mental Health and Architecture" to the Workplace Suicide Prevention program, a collaborative partnership of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and United Suicide Survivors International. The webinar provided an overview of the current measures and design strategies that are currently available for implementation of mental health considerations across all project typologies.
